There are many problems facing society as seen from different viewpoints. This book identifies many of these problems, attempts to understand how these problems are increasing and proposes democratic ways to promote change. Furthermore it claims that these issues are linked and flaws in democratic societies are adding to these problems:-from civil unrest, apathy, war, division, unemployment, environmental damage to the fear of economic recessions at a global level.The day after the draft of this book was sent for editing sadly I heard the news of Nelson Mandela’s death on 6th December 2013.Nelson Mandela became a renowned world statesman not because he aspired to be a renowned world statesman but because he wanted to change society and used his position in life as a means of achieving that.
